Allen grew up in Saratoga Springs and lives in his childhood home in Wilton. After spending nearly a decade in Chicago working for United Airlines, he returned to New York in 2020 to pursue a PhD in Early Modern Literature at Binghamton University. During his graduate work, he taught literature, Shakespeare, and academic writing, most recently at Siena College. While working part-time at Garvey Hyundai—and after completing his PhD—Allen chose to begin a new career as a Product and Leasing Specialist, bringing together his background in teaching, his ability to explain things clearly, and a genuine commitment to helping customers feel confident and informed.

Whether someone is looking for a fuel-efficient sedan like the Elantra, a family-friendly SUV such as the Tucson or Santa Fe, or the roomy and refined Palisade, Allen offers clear explanations and thoughtful recommendations tailored to each customer’s needs.

As a long-time local, Allen enjoys helping neighbors from Saratoga, Clifton Park, Queensbury, and the greater Adirondack region find a vehicle that fits their lifestyle. Allen and his wife—who drives a Tucson, while he drives a Santa Fe—spend much of their free time in the Adirondacks and are currently hiking their way through the 46 High Peaks. In addition, the two recently welcomed their first child, Addie, into the world.

Allen believes customers should never feel rushed or talked over, and he works hard to make sure every question—big or small—is answered with patience and clarity. He also keeps one foot in the academic world, often reading, writing, or catching a Shakespeare performance when he can.
